Quick Pick
- 10 September 2010 -

This book was about a boy called Kunta Kinte growing up in Africa who was then caught by the slave traders and taken to America. The book then follows six generations down until the author is born. It was really easy to get into this book because it was like different biographies of different African American people and their thoughts throughout history. Everything was explained well and the tragedies of the different characters in this book made the story gripping and hard to put down.
