This is the third book in the Pure Dead series by Debi Gliori. It is aimed at the younger end of the cool-reads range, but still amusing and enjoyable to older readers. Again it follows the extravagant Strega-Borgia family, who live in an old Celtic castle, and their strange collection of assorted mythical beasts. The main theme this time seems to be to Titus inheriting the millions of his grandfather's (who was a powerful criminal mastermind) blood-money, but there is also a forked-tailed, cloven-hoofed, brimstone-reeking demon who is out to reap the soul of Titus and his infant sister Damp.
