How easy was it to get stuck into this book?
Extremely easy, as it is a collection of short stories each one gets straight into the story and have really good openings which draws the reader in. Being short stories, you feel like you are making good progress and before you know it you have finished the book. They are also good to re-read as you never get bored of them.
Who are the main characters?
Being a collection of weird, short stories, Uncovered has many characters. Such as the bed wetter, Misty, the victim of bullies, Peter Hare - the characters are so varied in each original and entertaining short stories that leaves the reader laughing out loud or cringing with embarrassment.
What's the storyline?
Well, there are 8 different short stories in the book. No two stories are the same, some are about practical jokers, weird goings on in a house, bullying and many more. They are each clever and gripping with twists in more or less each and every short story. I thought each storyline was excellently imaginative and creative.
How's it written?
Each story is written in first person - the main characters point of view. The author creates the characters to come across in a friendly and entertaining way and allows the reader to empathize with them, one way or another - whether you want to or not.
Other books by the same author that
