How easy was it to get stuck into this book?
The fourth book in the Alpha Force series, for those not familiar with them, again follows 5 young teenagers, each with their own special skills, who are thrown into a fast paced and frightening adventure in tropically forested Northern Australia, where they are up against a desperate and deadly infamous terrorist, who will stop at nothing to escape. For those who are fans of the series, it should be very enjoyable.

Who are the main characters?
The main characters are the five teenagers, each with their own special and individual skills, who make up the survival team christened Alpha Force. They are Alex, the leader, who is an expert at survival, Paulo, who is a skilled mechanic, Li, a martial arts specialist, Amber, who is the team navigator, and Hex, who focuses on computers and hacking. Another important character in the book is the infamous world terrorist Sancho Pirroni.

What's the storyline?
When Alpha Force are sent out to Australia to make sure the scene for an Australian TV reality show is safe and error free, they encounter unexpected danger in the form of Sancho Pirroni, an infamous terrorist who is supposed to be locked up behind bars, but seems to be hanging around near the camp. When he takes a number of the TV show contestants hostage, the action really heats up, as Alpha Force must use all their assorted skills to track him down and free the hostages safely.

How's it written?
Probably best for readers in the middle of the cool-reads age range.

Other books by the same author that Tim knows about?
Also in this series: Survival, Rat-Catcher, Desert Pursuit, Hostage

The overall verdict is
Really good stuff

This book is non-stop action and excitement, combining historical fact with believable fiction added by the author. The story is seen with the eyes of March Exavier and is set in 1963, and the Germans did not lose the war...
